ComStar App Store End-User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: [July 4th, 2025]

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement” or “EULA”) is a legal contract between you ("User", "you", or "your") and ComStar Enterprises ("ComStar", "we", "our", or "us") governing your access to and use of the ComStar App Store platform ("CAS" or "Platform").

By accessing, downloading from, uploading to, or otherwise using the ComStar App Store, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

1. Overview of the Platform
The ComStar App Store is a global software distribution platform operated by ComStar Enterprises. It enables developers to publish software of any platform and format, including downloadable applications and streamed software experiences. ComStar may host apps on behalf of developers and allows end users to browse, download, use, or interact with these applications.

2. Eligibility
You must be:
- At least 18 years old if you reside in the United States, or
- At least 16 years old in any other jurisdiction.

By using the Platform, you affirm that you meet these age requirements and have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement.

3. Licensing Terms
All applications offered through the Platform are subject to the individual terms and licenses specified by their developers. ComStar Enterprises does not dictate these terms and is not a party to those license agreements unless the app is published directly by ComStar Productions, ComStar Computers, or ComStar Enterprises.

Unless otherwise stated by the developer:
- You may use, share, or redistribute the apps provided doing so does not violate the developer’s own licensing restrictions.
- You may use the apps for any purpose, provided such use is lawful and does not conflict with the developer's license or terms.

4. Restrictions & Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload or distribute malware, spyware, viruses, or harmful software.
- Publish, upload, or share any illegal content, including but not limited to child pornography, hate speech, or content prohibited under United States Federal Law.
- Violate the Terms of Service or applicable laws and regulations.

Violation of these conditions may result in immediate termination of access without notice.

5. Content Review and Security
All submitted apps are:
- Instantly published, but
- Downloaded and sandbox-tested by ComStar’s security team to ensure safety and compliance.

Apps that include warnings (e.g., unsafe behavior, experimental features) must include:
- A clear all-caps disclaimer, and
- A password-protected download or comparable barrier to prevent accidental use.

6. User Accounts and Privacy
To use the ComStar App Store, users must create an account and provide a valid email address. No additional personal information is collected.

ComStar will not sell or share your email address with third parties, except as required by law or under court order.

7. Liability and Warranties
ComStar Enterprises does not provide warranties or guarantees for any application not owned by ComStar. All warranties, promises of functionality, and maintenance obligations lie with the application's developer.

ComStar is not responsible for:
- Bugs, crashes, or data loss caused by third-party apps;
- Any damage resulting from software obtained through the Platform;
- Misuse of apps contrary to the developer’s license.

Apps are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”.

8. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to terminate your access to the ComStar App Store for:
- Violating this EULA or our Terms of Service;
- Distributing illegal or harmful content;
- Engaging in fraudulent, unethical, or abusive conduct.

Termination may occur with or without notice at ComStar’s sole discretion.

9. Support
ComStar provides limited support for applications not developed by us. While we may offer guidance, we do not guarantee issue resolution for third-party apps. A dedicated customer service division is not yet available.

10. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
Although ComStar is an international service, this EULA shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of U.S. federal courts, unless otherwise required by applicable international law.

11. Modifications to This Agreement
ComStar reserves the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your consent to the updated terms.

If you do not accept the terms of this agreement, you must cease all use of the ComStar App Store immediately.
