What Does It Mean?

Rule 1 The rules work both ways. Admins gotta follow em too, or else!!!

Rule 2 No staff emember may act outside of the SOP.

Rule 3 Contrary to what has been said, and Admin MUST have a 2nd admin approval in order to ban someone. The only exception is when an executive order grants TEMPORARY authorization to remove member(s) without a 2nd apporval so long as the removal pertains specifically to the executive order. (example, From now until the end of the year, I [Jason Kubin] am issuing an executive order authorizing admins to remove members who engage in arguing. (not counting the Open Forum))

Rule 4  When a person is voted in as a staff member, they are bestowed a certain level of authority that is required to do their jobs. They must certify in various areas of SaC operations. As such they are expected to observe the rules in which they enforce. IF an Admin violates the SOP, they are held to a higher standard which means they recieve a stiffer penalty, because we know better.

Rule 5 If an admin makes a move, that admin can expect to have that decision examined and vetted. The senior panel, executive officers, department heads, and chapter presidents, all monitor and frequently contest the actions of other admins as a check and balance system.  YOU do not see this as it happens in a private staff section of our network and is classified.

Rule 6 Admins are the people who maintain the quality of service which has propelled us to great heights. When they speak, it's not one voice, it's the voice of the collective agency. But we know that things get said and done in the moment that are perhaps, not the best avenues to have taken. That is why we have a Senior Administration panel who settles the majority of disagreements that can not be handled at the ground level. Like wise, when that fails, we have our SaC Legal system that, when required, appoints a judge. And as a back up, we have an appeals judge. We really try to think about every foreseeable circumstance.

Rule 7 If you are SaC Law certified, and you are appointed to an arbitration case. You MUST serve unless you have a valid reason why you should be excused. It's a tough job because sometimes we have to hang one of our own. But we MUST maintain a level of integrity across the board.

Rule 8 There are many jobs here at SaC. Some of them are very important and require competent staff to fulfill them. Te ensure that the staff member is up to the task, they must pass a certification exam to serve in various positions or to obtain various promotions. Here are those Certifications which are at the bottom of the Administration Staff page .

Rule 9 For years, ANYONE could be an admin if they watched the orientation video and served their 6 month initial probation period. But as we grew, so did the member types. Some would join out staff just to cause problems. Others would join because it's cool, but they're just not in the right mind set or possess the appropriate skills to do the jobs they are rallying for. This is felt by the members first and foremost. So Josh Jenkins, 3rd SaC President, executed an executive order requiring ALL staff to certify in the bare minimum requirements needed to hold an administrative position.

Rule 10 Admins may NOT instigate or verbally attack ANYONE associated with SaC. Admins are NEVER off duty. We are always representing SaC. WE must always represent the agency as professional as possible.
